Cassandra, the beauty having the gift of prophecy. In Greek mythology, Cassandra (also known as Alexandra) was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. Her beauty caused Apollo to grant her the gift of prophecy. However, when she did not return his love, Apollo placed a curse on her so that no one would ever believe her predictions.
The movie’s name, Cassandra’s Dream, intimates us that it would be an implausible story.
Maybe we, normal people, do have choices whatever difficulties we faced up with. However, few of people can insist this thought when they were in some situations. As the saying goes, he who avoids temptation avoids the sin. Temptation is always in our way. If plus some fear or panic, we may be fools. We just lose all the mind about “principles” or “Good” or “Integrity”. Like Uncle Howard said “survive”.
Yeah,”survive” not “live”. Humans live, animals survive. Live means not only being alive but also a good future, a real life, maybe good cars, big house and women, too. There is a crook in the lot of every one. The problem is how could we find the third choice? We could be driven crazy by anything at anytime. No matter how normal your life is, accidents or affairs will come to you themselves. This may depress us itself.
This essay is not a methodology. I’m finding the way myself. Any thoughts would be welcomed. J
